Experience working with Amada machines a plus. Must be able to work independently and be capable of set up and operation of Amada Laser and Press Brake. Position is responsible for sheet metal component production. Familiarity with sheet metal concepts, general practices, and procedures. Qualifications/requirements: set up and operation for sheet metal parts fabrication using Amada Laser and Press Brake. A broad understanding of metal fabrication. Good mathematical skills. Ability to confirm measurements of completed parts. Hands on manufacturing/fabrication experience in mechanical design with an aptitude for R&D. Knowledge of tooling, tooling setups, bend allowances, and forming. Mechanical aptitude required. Must be familiar with running materials such as galvanized and galvannealed steel.
